If you are a car lover, then you must have heard the name of world famous brand Audi. Over the years it has been producing numerous high-profile cars. Audi is one of the oldest car companies in the world. It started its successful journey in the beginning of the 19th century. August Horch is the founder this iconic brand. Initially, it was known as Horch, but he had some problems with officials, so he quit. Then, he created another car company. He had to use another name as the name “Horch” was already in use by another company. So, he went with the Latin translation of the word Horch, and it became “Audi.” Audi means “Listen.” Horch is a German word.

“Good, strong cars” it was the motto of Audi. With this motto, Audi created a model in 1935. This 1935 model is one of the best cars ever produced by Audi. Amazingly, this model was produced only two pieces! You see, how rare they were and none of them exists today. It was a great car, so Audi wanted to rebuild the car, and it made it. Analyzing many photographs of the original pieces, they made 1935 Audi Type 225. They really have done a wonderful job. This replica was shown in Berlin International Auto Show in 1935, and people were overwhelmed to see this 1935 Audi Type 225. It includes tall grille and long hood which give this car a unique, superb look. Once again, in 2009, this model was shown at Techno Classica in Germany. The replicated model is white. This show also included another old model built in 1911.
